About Me

Hey everyone!

Thanks so much for checking out my website and, hopefully, purchasing some delicious treats off me!

I wanted to let you know a bit about the face behind Frankies Bakery.
As some of you may know, Frankies Bakery used to be called Little Delights - I created Little Delights around 7 years ago with the dream of owning my own bakery one day. This dream went in and out of focus a lot through the years with the Facebook page being deleted several times until i finally got the push and motivation i needed.
Before the dreaded lockdown and Covid-19 happened i had sporadically been supplying my parents shop with baked goods for the past couple years for them to sell to see how high, if any, the demand was for them.
During lockdown they went crazy - like the people demanded cake!

This was the push i needed to realise just how good my bakes were, i have had nothing but good feedback and reviews - and lots of them!

So - I am Frankie, i am, at the time of writing this, 27. Before Covid-19 i was a full time Events Creation Manager for an amazing event & wedding barn in the Lake District, Park House Barn, and although i am still working here it is now on a part time basis, i am also a fully qualified bookkeeper and studying to be Personal Trainer!
My parents own the Traditional Sweet Shop in a little market town called Kirkby Lonsdale - i am based 10 minutes away from here, in my unit, in a small village called Newton.

I have loved baking for as long as i can remember, i have spent a long time getting my brownies to perfection and really they are based around exactly what i wanted to eat at the time of first making them - a really warm and gooey brownie and then of course i topped it with some lush luxury ice cream. Now im not a chocolate or sweet person really - but these bakes i have to restrain myself from eating and im not just saying that cause i want you to buy them. I literally do they they are that good that i crave them!

Securing this unit and taking my business self employed rather than a T/A of my parents shop has been a huge decision for me especially in these uncertain times but i found myself with a decision of now or never and with some savings i figured i needed to otherwise i would always wonder! and now Monday 6th July - i am officially open and ready to trade, and i just hope that i can make this work and my business becomes the success i dream of it being.

If you've made it this far, thank you for reading! I really hope you will support my little business and i look forward to receiving your orders and supplying you with some lush treats!

Much love,
Frankie xx
